There is nothing better than sitting
at in your seat at a runway show in anticipation, waiting to see a new
designers collection. It is even better when these designers are new to
the industry and it is one of their first shows. Showing of
their talents for the first time. Displaying what they have been working
on for months and months and months. Seeing their faces of excitement
after the last model has come off the runway and they walk on and give
that little wave or nod. This was all demonstrated yesterday morning for
the last show I would watch at the 2013 Mercdes-Benz Fashion Week
Australia. The New Generation runway show demonstrated the talents of
emerging designers such as Betty-Tran, Faddoul, Desert Designs, Natalie and Sarah, The Letter Q, Tristan Melle and Zhivago.
For
me the stand outs were definitely Natalie and Sarah, I loved their
designs, their bright colour pallet (my favourite of theirs was the pink
pants suit and the other little top and shorts in the same fabric)
andddd their pooch was the most amazing and styling dog out their.
